Welcome to this web site, which details the research I perform in pursuit of a future masters thesis. It intends to explore Trends and Forecasts in Free and Open Source Geospatial Technologies.

The University

This has been established under the supervision of Professor Venkatesh Raghavan in Osaka City University's Graduate School for Creative Cities.

The research

The research I perform aims to to examine the development of these technologies from the first WEB 2.0 GIS Applications and identify changes in order to understand what are the challenges for the future identifying areas in which the GIS community will need to adapt to concerning Web-based GIS.
